Regarding Survive Mode and The Ending

Was there any particular reason why you chose to introduce the Survive Mode cards towards the tail end of the show?

And

Were there plans to actually show the riders rescuing the people of Ventara and Earth in the finale?

We introduced the Survive Mode cards late because there was very little footage of the Survive Mode suits in Ryuki, so we didn't have a lot to work with. Dramatically, we also wanted to save it for the big finale.

We never had plans to show the Riders rescuing the Ventarans. The Teleporter was supposed to do all the work. We DID have plans to show them reappearing in their empty streets and rejoicing, but that got cut for budget reasons.
