But they always have a method of bringing them back. Besides, Donut and Lopez were so main to the story since the first season, and all of a sudden get killed off at the end of Season 7...

Especially Donut. Out of everyone who watches this series, who would have expected him to die the season he comes back?

Lopes is a robot to begin with, so bringing him back is extremely easy. As for Donut, I'm sure they'll find something.

They left him back in Valhalla, though. They haven't even made mention of him after episode 3...or 4...

As for Lopez....eh.

Tucker and Doc were missing for almost an entire season, but now they're back.

And they didn't die. I mean, Lopez appeared, what, once in Reconstruction, again in Recreation, and canned the last eps of said season. Donut comes back after an entire season of absence, and dies last eps his returning season.

Compare that to Tucker, who appears near the end of Recreation (and is actually the coolest in the series with actual combat capabilities compared to...well, everyone else that he COULD (but fails) take Tex in a fight) and stays on for the rest of Revelation, and Doc, who, once again, ends up the poor unfortunate victim in the entire mess the Reds and Blues dig up (and still lives lol).

I think, and this is just me thinking, people really hated Donut.

Look at Tucker Jr. we saw him blow up back during the Blood Gulch Chronicles, and aver several season it turns out that he is still alive.

That's retconning, or probably forgetting the script, for ya.
