Ratchet and Clank/Jak & Daxter Ideas Thread

Ratchet and Clank is cool. A lot of weapons and gadgets and stuff. Especially with the characters. And same with Jak & Daxter

If Ratchet and Clank came back after All 4 One, what kind of story and game can you make out of it? As for Jak and Daxter, they should come back with a new game.

Ex.
I say Ratchet goes ninja and maybe some new characters and armed weapons like swords and stuff. I'm thinking something Metal Gear Solid 2.

- Ratchet and Clank go search all over the galaxies for the lost lombax race. Ratchet is in ninja suit. Ratchet disappears during his quest to find his lost kind but Clank still survives.

- Clank only shows that Ratchet's wrench is all that's left of him. However *spoiler* Ratchet actually is still alive and survived but only told Clank to keep his survival a secret for a while.

- A new character (dragon-like alien from a former ninja clan in a former planet in Polaris) borrows Ratchet's wrench for a while on a mission. Clank becomes the new character's partner. The new character has been a fan of Ratchet ever since he saved the galaxies many times. He'll also gain his own robot partner once Ratchet is revealed to be alive.

- Ratchet wields his wrench and shooting weapons even the whip, while the dragon character fights with a katana sword and other ninja weapons including some firearms.

- Kaden could also appear on the game, if he's still alive.

- Other characters: Al, Helga, Sasha, Talwyn, Skrunch & Qwark appear. Smuggler & Slim Cognito (hope his face can finally be shown for once) also appear.

I also wish there'd be a Ratchet & Jak game someday.

I would love it if we could freely switch between Ratchet and Clank whenever we wanted to.

And a new recurring character or two would be nice. Just to add some more dynamics. I like Ratchet, Clank, and Qwark, but I'd like to see a couple of new guys for a change.

I would also love to revisit some older planets. Not necessarily the same maps, but I'd love to see the same planets. It's nice to see new planets every game, but I'd love to see some older planets come back and get expanded upon. Like Veldin, since that's where Ratchet grew up.

I would also love some of the puzzle elements and difficulties of the first two games to come back with some new twists and gimmicks. I think that would be great. In some ways, I'd like a newer game to "weaken" Ratchet so that he doesn't seem as overly powerful as he has been in recent games, while still keeping staples like leveling up and armor.

Ninja Ratchet would kick ass! I also would love to see Inferno Ratchet come back. But mainly cause I want a better explanation on what Inferno Ratchet really is.

There actually was a crossover game with Ratchet, Jak, and even Sly Cooper. But sadly, it was meh. :disappoin But I still await the day when an actual GOOD version of that crossover gets released! :thumbs:

Clank + Daxter

They team up in different missions. Of course, Clank will think of Daxter a moron.

Anyways, what do you guys think of my last idea?
