HELL YEAH. Reading Rainbow instilled a real life-long love of reading in me. A new series is a wonderful thing for today's kids.

I remember it from when it first premiered in 1983! (I was going on 8 at the time.) I thought it was a cool show.

I also talked briefly to LeVar Burton at Dragon*Con a few years ago! Very nice guy.

It's surprising to think that the show was actually re-run for nearly 20 years after it ended making new episodes.

Perhaps one of the more "unique" subjects they did on the show was this:
