Queen Cleopatra got people debating

I want to say my opinion about this but I am afraid Will Smith will come out of nowhere to slap me. I will keep his wife's name out of my fingers and keyboard.

In my opinion, this is a direct insult to historians. Knowing that the thousands of dollars I spent on education are meaningless in comparison to someone famous for almost nothing, this trailer breaks my heart. Never before have I felt so dismissed. What do people say about REAL history when you bring in their grandmothers? You even invited someone with no formal education to speak about history. This is heinous. Please read the Cleopatra page on Wikipedia. Why did you not hire a researcher? When this idea was proposed, how did it get approved?

LOL, If someone makes a Cleopatra Bollywood/Tollywood/Dollywood movie, Can we claim her too?

History is founded on facts, and no concrete evidence exists to support one theory over another. As a result, conspiracy theories about her ethnicity have gotten out of hand. She is, without a doubt, Greek Macedonia!

Historical revisionism..... (face palm) LOL Netflix disabled the comments now. Their feelings got hurt. The truth is as vital as representation! Why not tell the stories of real black queens who ruled throughout history? It's strange and pitiful when you consider that there are busts, sculptures, and even images of Cleopatra on Roman coins. None of them featured a black woman. Cleopatra, was deeply inbred. A Ptolemaic princess. Never mix races. She has only two distinct pairs of great grandparents and three distinct pairs of great great grandparents. Her ability to walk and talk was reportedly unexpected. A person typically has eight sets of great great grandparents.

LOL at Netflix getting rid of the comment section for the trailer of this documentary.

Hey there, like, as a proud Greek, I totally understand why some people wanna claim Cleopatra as their own. But let's be real, she was totally Greek, right? I mean, she was part of the Ptolemaic dynasty and they were all about that Greek culture and language. Plus, have you seen her portrait on that coin? She looks totally Greek to me, with that cute little nose and those fancy braids. So yeah, let's own our girl Cleo and celebrate her as a fierce and fabulous Greek queen of Egypt.
Cleopatra may have ruled Egypt, but she was part of the Ptolemaic dynasty, and they were Greeks who had adopted the Egyptian culture. Her portrait on the coin also depicts her looking more Greek than Egyptian. So let's celebrate Cleopatra as a proud Greek queen of Egypt and cherish her as a symbol of the remarkable history of ancient Greece.
