I have wonderful memories of PSO on the Dreamcast and Xbox. I've never put more time or passion into a game as I have into PSO. Since then I've tried every MMO under the sun: Everquest II, WoW, RF Online, and right now Anarchy Online, but PSO is still my favorite, probably because it's so simple and since you do the same levels over and over again, it gets to the point where you can just have conversations with people as you play (on Xbox with voice chat, anyway) without really thinking about what you're doing gameplay wise.
I love PSO, but I don't have the money for any kind of monthly service. And I didn't like the PSU beta too much, I'm not sure why...
(Speaking of which, you can still download the PSU beta on 360 and play for free, but I don't know where it cuts you off.)
If Blue Burst went the way of Guild Wars and had a one-time fee like the old PSO did, I'd jump on that like a beast.

It was fun for a while, but it made me miss my ol' Ep. 1 & 2 guy on the Gamecube. Who was the guy back on the irc all those months ago that got everyone to play?

Yup, Savory. I didn't know if I should mention it. PM me here or on TFL and I'll try to meet up with you or anyone else who wants to play on Blue Burst. I've had it for sooo long but I recently made a new character.

The Dreamcast and Gamecube servers are legal because those servers shutdown.
I don't think they have an Xbox one cause' it's Live.
I'm not sure for Blue Burst tho. They also have Ep. III if anyone interested for the GC. I'd play if I got back my Adaptor.

Private servers are legal. I'm playing a little BB on that private server right now, if I could just get a gamepad working and solve a little graphics problem I'd be a very happy panda :thumbs:

I also use a gamepad. Not all private servers are legal I think. It's just that Sega no longer provides online service for GC or Dreamcast. There were also many loopholes. They fixed that with PSU.
