Premiere Pro Help

I just got Adobe Premiere Pro V2.0
But anytime I load an avi file(specifically, Kamen Rider Kabuto, but other shows as well) it will show up that it doesn't support the audio rate, so it wont upload all the way through.

Anyone know how to bypass this? or maybe a way to change the audio rate?

Premiere hates loading anything that isn't a DV file. I even tried to have a friend convert an episode of Blade into DV, and it STILL didn't work. It's kind of lame...

It just hates compressed files. Open the video file up in the program VirtualDub, reprocess the audio and video with the uncompressed 'codec' checked and save it.

If you're determined on adding the whole episode to your project, the output file will be huge. What I usually do is use VirtualDub to make clips out of the relevant parts of the episode (e.g. for my explosion vid I only saved clips of explosions) and import those into Premiere.

Thanks for the help!
Actually...

Think you can tutorial that for me? I was lookin around and i did a few different methods and other things i found online, but nothing is working. I even took audio out, :/

oh man. I remember I used to do stuff at that place. I think its that place.. either that or another AMV.org place...

Look for my Name, I think i still used Xarin even then. I did a few small AMVs when I was like 13 or somethin
Edit: Yup. I'm there as Xarin.

Did mostly Hellsing stuff, but the normal comments were...
"Good stuff, but Bad Material"
I need dvds... -.-!
Note for anyone who decides to check out that stuff, it's made with Movie Maker, and with fansubs. I did the best I could without spending way too much time, as Movie Maker makes it hard to do long projects without getting tiresome. So, you'll notice alot of MVs made with one episode. :/
