-Hated it when it first started. Thought it was retarded and terribly low budget.
-Found I actually liked it with its interesting mix of Asian cinema, American martial arts, and absurd, but fun story lines.
-Jason, Zack and Trini leave, bringing in a VERY uncharismatic other three that I couldn't stand. Adam turned out really cool, but he was so shy and quiet, he barely registed. I couldn't BELIEVE they thought some punk scrub like Rocky could fill the shoes of Jason and Ashely... she couldn't even look like she could pretend to fight!
-Thought the movie was suprisingly good... the first one.
-The Ninjetti Powers in the show were crap. No more unmorphed fighting anymore. All fights consisted of throws and trips... martial arts turned to crap. SOmewhere around her the Zord battles were garbage, where the monsters and the Zord would never be on the screen at the same time.
-Zeo... God awful them, terrible costumes, hated the uncharismatic Machine Empire... only shining moment was the return of Jason and then eventually he left.
-Turbo... the movie was aweful. Good to see Jason again, but I couldn't believe what the show had sunk to. It was like nobody cared anymore. They even brought in a little kid which was almost the final insult! I was ready to call it quits.
-Turbo show was wack as hell with the most downgraded bad guy I ever seen in these hokey "find the bomb!" stories. Then they swapped out the legends with more scrubs. The show's only saving grace......... martial arts were back and surprisingly really good. Crappy stories, but the action was top notch.
-I found I was tired as hell of seeing Tommy in the first place. I could only stand him for so long. I was sorry to see Adam go.
-Found I could stomach the Turbo Ranger now with them being a fresh new team. Still hated Justin, but I was more okay with the newbies donning the Turbo powers and fighting a scrub, versus Rangers of Legend turning in the most powerful crystal in the universe in for.... "car powers." Down graded powers, for a down graded bad guy and down graded Rangers.
-The finale of Turbo blew my mind. They went all out!!! I couldn't believe the action they banged out and couldn't wrap my mind around it. The show had been so mediocre to that point and still less than status quote that I couldn't believe the Power Chamber got busted up so bad and Zordon taken away, if I remember right. Next thing I know they're taking off into space and Justin was left behind!
-Power Rangers in Space reawakened everything I knew Power Rangers could be. It was imaginative, expansive of the universe and didn't hold back on the action. A whole new level and world of creativity had opened up and I was made in love with Power Rangers like I'd never been before.
-Count Down to Destruction landed and I couldn't believe all all out they went! I thought this was the end and a WORTHY end of the Power Rangers.
-Lost Galaxy took the show to an ALL new level, completely out of Angel Grove across the galaxy.. TOTALLY new heroes and creativity just bursting at the seams! Lots of unmorphed fighting, reuse of Starship Troopers props and just... WOW! High death toll and all out finale.
-Lightspeed Rescue... not so much. Interesting stories, but bleh...
-TimeForce came along and knocked it outta the park with fantastic themes, one of the greatest casts of all time. Mature and well told stories. Eric was a phenomal actor and martial artist. Excellent finale.. I was sorry to see them go.
-Wild Force.... too scattered. Great mature themes, actual death, greastest crossover episodes, including the Forever Red of legend, and the return of the Time Force. Excellent swan song to MMPR Productions with a great finale.
-Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder brought back everything I hated. NS had moronic bad guys, a story that went no where, and too much bonky/wonky comedy. Great action, but a terrible world with no focus. Dino Thunder was better, but just wasn't tight or epic enough. Tommy returned a little bit, but... bleh... I misssed episodes and felt I hadn't missed a thing.
-SPD.. a return to greatness that we haven't seen since Time Force.
