My cousin let me borrow the season 1 box set of this crappy show and I decided to watch a few eps because I always remembered how sexy the twin girls were.
Damn was I right. They are gorgeous.
But there are a few things I'd like to let you guys know, I'm sure you know Sweet Valley High was a Saban show so some of this may not be a shock to some of you.
In episode 5, The one twin girl and her boyfriend take a trip to their friend's Uncle's movie studio and as they come up to the enterence we see the original Red Ranger (Tyrannoranger) fighting with a unmasked Z Putty and one of the Crocodile monsters from MMPR season 2. They do some kicks and jumps, in the end the Red Ranger walks off with a girl. Pretty fun stuff.
In ep 6, I reconized the music that played. It played in MMPR season 2 when the Rangers go on a school trip to Austrailia. It played a few minutes in the episode of MMPR as did it in Sweet Valley High. The lyrics were along the lines of "Were on our own now". I always enjoyed this song back 10 years ago, it was a flashback to hear it on SVH.
Also, episode 7 was written by.... BRUCE E. KALISH!!!!!!
Looks like Kalish and Power Rangers/Saban have crossed pathes before in a sense.
