Who said anything about anti-Disney. I likes me some Robin Hood and Lion King thank you much, but this game felt like a cold cash-in.
The cinemas I was a little harsh on, but when you have Power Rangers which is heavy on the 'Moving Picture' visuals, it's very much a letdown when the cinematics are slideshows with voices over them (They did an alright job on the V.O., I'll admit that).
The Zord battles in gaming have declined since the days of the '16-bit era', it used to be that whenever you got into a zord battle it switched into a fighting game style of play, which made sense, nowadays it's glorified 'SIMON' which does'nt make me feel the excitement of piloting a giant friggin robot to kick some giant monster ass.
When a game box tells me '20+ Ranger to Select' or something along that lines, that's what I'm looking for 20 semi-unique rangers with their own individual weapons and attacks, not 1 cookie cutter barebones ranger with 20 skins. Also not having any one of those rangers be Tommy, who has been in 4 of the different series and has been arguably stated as 'The Greatest Power Ranger' even in the fucking show, is a boot to the ass of the fans.
When a game has unlockable art, usually that means cool concept art and sketches, not this game it was mostly screenshots of backgrounds.
POINT ENOUGH FOR YA?
