I thought VR Troopers was allright, but I love Uchu Keiji Shaider! That was the very first "Uchu Keiji" series I watched and bought, so it holds a near and dear special place to my heart, like Doraemon.

NEver watched the Toku it was based from, but I loved VR Troopers as a kid. It was so much darker and more well acted than PR, even if it was dragged down by elements like the talking Jack Nicholson dog.

Bleh..... I hated Ninja Storm, but that was based on its own merits that killed it for me.

Not because I liked Hurricanger so much.

I honestly didn't care that they made Tao Zanto a Zord. What I cared is that they had Lothor suck so much until the final 7 or so episodes.

I compare the two shows in my head a little, but one show does not determin how much I like another in my book. NS had its own merits to rise and fall on. And for me, it just fell.

I loved VR troopers, Season 1. Because it was syndicated they could get away with a little more than PR could. Plus I loved the Villian Toxoid, so goofy yet Powerful. The second season sucked Donkey Dong...but Rock on to Season 1!!!!
