Power Rangers Samurai Video Game

It'll end up being a watered 2D Beat'em up for kids where all you do is mash buttons mindlessly...Like every other PR game since 1997.....
:disappoin

Now a Mecha-Fighter using the Gundam Vs. Ultimate engine made just for the Adult fan's and laden with Fanservice.....that would be sauce.

Let's hope the Megazord fights aren't timed button presses yet, more of a fighting game style thing. Hopefully Ban-Dai, or whomsoever makes the games knows that was a bad formula!!!

...and what's wrong with 2D beat-em-ups? :O

LOL! Yeah. That'll happen.

Anyway, the last time Bandai HAD the games license, we got all the stuff you guys were fantaszing about. We got deep 2D beat-em-ups, we got a one-on-one fanservice-laden megazord brawler. The 16-bit games were surprisingly decent.

They... just kinda died once Morphin'-mania did. But if Samurai takes off, there's hope.

technology is too advanced for 2d game, i think they will probably use the climax heroes ooo story line mode engine for the ground fighting and maybe for the zord modes or possibility use the fighting engine for zord modes and ground monster fighting, accept they will probably create new background scenes straight from the show.

Yeah, watch the whole damn hing just get plopped into Eighting's lap again. Which would still be a damn sight better than the games we got post-MMPR.

However--as far as tech advancement goes, one thing really needs to get put into these games now that we have the processing power--and that's co-op, dammit. 5-player co-op.

You say that like it`s a bad thing, lol.
Actually,I would like to see either Eighting or Natsume get involved. Both have proved they can do toku/sentai games..Kamen Rider Dragon Knight was awesome.
And if Natsume does develop, say, the DS version..and it winds up like aforementioned KRDK..:buttrock:

I gotta hand it to Namco Bandai(or Bamco,as I like to call them),they haven`t wasted any time announcing this game.

I wonder if this means we might just get some sort of home-console adaptation of Dice-O (obviously cut down to merely accomodate the known PR universe)? :v

Also, man, some of the comments on those sites make me cringe. >.o
