The Cookie Man!
What a great finale for PR! That was a great way to end PR
Okay, I admit they ended on a cliffhanger. Perhaps. Which I ten refer back to my quote, "Things could have been done differently."
It's matter of imagination here. I believe they were indirectly trying to say that you can't necessarily delete a virus. It'll always be there someway. But for now, we know that the Venjix Virus is contained.
Alternativly, Dr K might have thrown the breifcase into a furnace after the episode concluded. She knew Venjix had downloaded information on the bio-field, Dr K probably realized that Venjix would download himself into it if he were destroyed, that's why she requested the morphers be given back to her, so she could dispose of them.
They're now trying to gear the network more towards sitcoms like Zeke and Luther, I'm in the Band, and the recently announced Pair of Kings. I guess they think the Disney Channel approach will work even though the network has already pulled in more of a female audience than a male audience.Disney XD is a failure, despite all the hoo-hah press releases. In the US, a year ago it would average 250k viewers with a schedule full of mostly repeats. Today, it averages 300k viewers, but its schedule is now more costly as it contains more original programming.
Does the increase of 50k viewers justify the increased spending on original programming? No. And that's why Disney have cancelled a whole load of series including Aaron Stone, and ultimately why I'm confident Power Rangers will return pretty soon with new episodes.
Power Rangers ending wasn't a business decision, it was a creative one. And it was a stupid decision to make, as it really is the only merchandisable series Disney XD had that guarantees X-amount of audience and X-amount of toy sales. This makes it a low-risk brand, and investors love that ****.
And don't even get me started on how fucked up Disney XD's UK channel has become. They've now basically abandoned the US marketing strategy.
Be glad you had PR on Diseny XD. Atleast it fits there, not like ABC family with the Hannah Montana and That's So Raven reruns.Disney XD is a failure, despite all the hoo-hah press releases. I think we'll see brand new PR back on TV in 2011.
