I thought the same thing at first, but it looks like the "Red Ranger" is just Morph having some fun. It's still a nice reference, though.

Also, notice that they referred to the giant moster as a "kaiju".

I loved this issue--not so much for the references at the end (which I liked), but because of the focus on the characters throughout the issue. Tony Bedard is one of my favourite writers, and while it took him a bit of time to hit his stride on Exiles, his recent issues have been awesome--I've not loved this book this much since the first year of Winick's run.
