I wonder if this will actually be in your usual anime style. The designs of the characters are pretty iconic and unlike Marvel characters can't be easily shifted to another visual style, as it's style is part of what makes the characters so well known.

I hope they don't mess with the style and just offer reallly awesome animation quality.

I keep imagining Charlie Brown moving at high speed beating everyone half to death for something and Snoopy is smoking cigars with the rain in the background.

In all fairness, I can actually picture a Charlie Brown anime... It could be a really good Slice of Life show

My mom, whom actually grew up on the show, said it was pretty close as it was... I thought on this, and I have to agree... with all the running gags in Charlie Brown, the interesting character designs (pig pen) and the imagination of Snoopy... it could be really good

Hopefully they don't actually turn penny and taht other girl into a yuri couple

I'm pretty certain it's not really going to be much different than the regular Peanuts cartoons. Snoopy is insanely popular in Japan. They aren't going to risk doing anything drastic.

Ya know, I'm sick'n tired of Charlie Brown always a loser and how's he's been treated as a blockhead.

I want him to win. If only there was a fonzie-like character to help him out even in the teenager years as well.
