Panty-shots in Older School Toku?

Are you it isn't the cameraman who was at the wrong place at the right time when they filmed those pantyshots?
 
They knew it could happen when they gave short skirts to women involved in dynamic scenes. That's also why these days, when they don't have these shots anymore, women in short skirts generally seem to wear short shorts under those (generally either black or colored the same as their skirt itself).

Women in old school Toku used to wear the cutest mini skirts, usually i am not into that kind of stuff but Tama Junko in V3 had some great dresses.

Interestingly, i think panty-shots are mostly a Super Sentai thing, i know that there are probably other shows where it happened but of all the 70´s and 80´s that toku i have watched i don´t recall Panty shots in any of them, and yet i know that Panty Shots happened up to Megaranger, which is relatively recent.
 

Annie from Shaider, as the Keith mentioned had a lot of panty shots. Fourze has at least one that I remember off the top of my head.
 
I suspect it was one of those fanservice things that didn't seem too dirty on the surface, so they let it pass. There were probably parent groups that caught on and complained about it.

Personally, I just have a hard time understanding why some of you fellas find this sort of thing hot. That's just me, though.
 
I don't really get the appeal either.

But, whatever.

It's still a valid topic for how random it was back in the day.
