Not X1 Mask, but the Maskman themselves. It was the scrapped design from when the show was still going to be called "Fiveman." I'm glad they ditched it. It would have been a neat design for something like Turboranger, the super sentai anniversary since it looked so much like Battle Fever, but not Maskman.

Maskman. It's just that he looked like recycled materials from Battle Fever J.

Damn you can't be serious. Looks like Toei not only steals from past shows for new series, but rejected ideas for new names.

That's the only thing about the Maskman designs that bothers me. The "5" has literally NO PLACE on the suits, especially if they aren't called Fiveman. I think Toei should have replaced the "5" insignia's in the last minute. Even if it was replaced with an "M".

If anyone asked about the 5 symbol they could say it was for the number of rangers, or say that it's actuall an S for sentai

Battle Ireland would fit the green.
