Original MMPR Graphic Novel series to start 2014

The art doesn't impress me in the least. I've seen better fan art on DeviantArt that looks more of a modern comic quality than this.

Red's helmet is very off and reminds me of the MB's MMPR board game box art. The muscles are very hilarious.

Still really don't like the art style of overly muscled men and women who look underfed in comparison or like a guy with man boobs in Yellow's case. I wished they partnered with at least IDW for the comics , because I dunno with these comics at all. The best design of the six is the White Ranger imo because it has the most resemblance and adherence to the first, alongside Pink.

Keeping the spandex look for the suits didn't feel compelling, but whatever.

Whoever did the art for this was pretty restrained, if anything, when doing the musculature.
Better than the Hamilton comic art of the 90's, anyhow.

I think if you're going to give Sentai heroes (or PR) an american comics style approach to the musculature then as a rule you should be leaning more for a Spider-Man type of build rather than a Superman or Hulk one. (Think Mark Bagley Spidey for instance).

You don't really want a Sentai hero to look like something from one of Bart Sears 90's Wizard magazine tutorials.
