Official Hellboy 2: Golden Army Thread

That was Abe Sapien (The fishy guy) in Hellboy 1. David Hyde Pierce did the voice in part 1, but refused to take credit for it. In part 2, the suit actor also provides the voice for Abe.

It comes out in Australia 1 month later!! *CRIES*

Oh well at least we get to see The Dark Knight 2-3 days earlier than USA!! >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D

I saw Hellboy 2 today, and while it was not a bad movie it was rather MEH imo. I wasn't excited by any of the action scenes, the over all story was rather boring, and the new character didn't do anything for me.

Saw it today. Kind of boring, but still a fun Friday night movie.

[HIDE]They're really pushing towards this "prophecy" thing aren't they?

Also, WHAT THE **** HAPPENED TO JOHN MEYERS? He was mentioned but never showed up![/HIDE]

I saw Hellboy: Sword something (the one where he fights samurai ppl thingz) on the shelf at FYE. Is it tied to the films?

Sword of Storms and Blood & Iron are within the Hellboy Universe and sort of continuations from the original movie, only in animated form. As for whether they'll be referenced in Golden Army is anyone's guess, but for the animations they were nice enough to get Perlman, Blair & Jones to do the voices for their animated alter-egos. There's also a new one soon called The Phantom Claw that's coming out soon. They've aired both of the other ones on CN and I liked them.

More info here.

there are actually 3 Hellboy Universes: Comic, Film, and Animated. Each is similar, but there are some differences. For example, in the comic and animated universes, HB can walk around freely, where in the film universe, his existence is a secret.

[hide]they did mention it, when they were talking about his stealth in the beginning.
Liz says HB had him transferred to Antartica[/hide]

Yeah, I heard the spying part in the beginning, but I didn't hear anything about him after that. Thanks!

What a sucky way to get written off, LOL. Put so much potential in him and get praised by Hellboy's father only to get him "transferred" by the second movie.
