Now about April 1st....

well it depends on what software you are using. if you're using imageready, there's a pop-up screen that shows up that allows you to limit your frames. If you are using Ulead gif animator, than that feature isn't available.

well, at least I think it isn't available, it could still be in there somewhere. I only used Ulead gif animator a couple of times so I don't know its full features

and thx Kivat, ur praise means a lot to me too :castlerock:

No probs.

But yeah, I'm using Ulead. I guess I have to delete frames at random, and if I actually focus on which ones to delete it would take me forever.

When you delete frames, is there a pattern you do while deleting or do you delete frames at random?
I've found that going with a pattern (for example, every 2nd frame or every 3rd frame) tends to lessen the choppiness a bit. Depending on how many frames you need to remove, you can compensate for the loss of them by ever-so-slightly adjusting the "time-lag" within the remaining frames. I did this quite a bit when I was doing those DCD episode GIF batches, especially if there was a bit of a "pause" in a scene that resulted in a sequence of nearly identical frames.

I see now, I have a long one I'm working on right now, well not to long (It's GoseiBlack's EyeCatch) so I'll try that.
