No More Heroes (Wii)

Heroes arnt always good. Just, do what other people see as good. Killing those who would kill a civilian = good.

When I first read this, I was thinking. Oooh! a City of Heroes' style game for the Wii?
>.<

I would like to see actual game play footage though. (C'mon, that was so FMV. Not because of the graphics. No. But because of the angles of the action. No way would you play the game at those weird angles.)

I would love to see how it plays though I reckon it will play like Red Steel. You choose between a gun-guy or a sword-guy and go at it or something? Probably anyway.

I like the stylized look. Cant wait to get my hands on a Wii.

I looks like maybe a fighting game? You pick different characters and take on ten guys above you?

Either way, looks kickass.

I meant as in Heroes arn't always good as in, they don't consider themselves good, They just do what they do. And other ppl label them Heroes.
Some "Heroes" we speak of could be the people fighting wars. Imagine. The Nazi. They arnt OUR Heroes, but at the time in Germany, when people fell for the propaganda, they though the Nazi WERE the Hero.

Another good one?

Some "Heroes" Believe they are "Heroes" because they do what they think and grew up to believe is right. I don't want to bring it up, but the 911 Terrorist attacks. Those were not Heroic for anyone here, and other parts of the world. But to the Terrorist, those that took over the planes and did as they had, were indeed "Heroes"

So what's to say a true Hero is?

In a world as fucked as ours, Assasins could indeed be Heroes.

A pretty interesting interview...

IGN Wii: Please explain the premise for No More Heroes.

Suda: The main character, Travis Touchdown, was born from my imagination -- an idea that Johnny Knoxville (an actor from Jackass) is a Japanese anime otaku (animation freak) and this led him to be interested in Japanese martial arts. Then, he finds himself talented in martial arts. Johnny is also a Star Wars freak, and happens to purchase a lightsaber on an Internet auction. After that, he starts to make his living as an assassin using this lightsaber. This is how Travis was born, and after that I started to work on planning No More Heroes.

The story begins when Travis is ranked at the eleventh place of the killer association by an unexpected coincidence. Travis is now a qualified assassin on this ranking list, and aims to become the ultimate, strongest assassins of all. It is sort of like a growing-up story of a young assassin/kid which progresses by defeating all other assassins from 10th to the 1st place. This ranking match with other assassins is the main part of the story.
