You know, despite my excitement for the new nintendo, I have to solemnly agree with
this article
It's actually very true in every aspect. I loved N64 though, but everything said in this article is sort of a grim reality to how things have shaped up in the past decade.
Not to mention, it bothers me that we have launch titles with no real information at all. Titles that these companies want to sell us but arent telling us anything about the title, no picture, no minor details, nothing. For example, a game like Far Cry or Dragon Quest. We have nothing on those titles and yet they will be here on launch. Uh, why? We're only a couple months away, you would think they would spit it out already and tell us why we should buy the damn games.
(Though I'll buy Dragon Quest regardless, cause Im a huge fan of the series.)
Ever since reading that article, however, I've decided that Wii is Nintendo's last chance for me. Despite my love for Nintendo, they better get their **** together this time. Cube was a total failure in my eyes. I played my cube for maybe a year and a half, then it just sat there collecting dust. I'm hoping my Wii won't live the same fate.
