Nintendo WFC Friend Codes

Generally w/ that error code it's 99% of the time a firewall problem.

Another excellent resource of info is the online forums at Nintendo.com. There's a forum in there for WiFi tech support and a LOT of people have got quick help in there.

As far as lagging. If you're the one lagging, that's not the networks fault, it's your ISP. And for people being really good...the game has been out for about 2 months now, so yeah, ALOT of people are going to be really good. But then that's why there's the 'Rivals' option so it can fit you w/ racers more in your skill level.

-Worldwide lets you race against people all over the world (funny how that works huh ;))
-Regional lets you race people in your region. IE-Europe, US, Japan, ect
-Rivals lets you race people w/ your skill level. Not quite sure how it works, but I'm guessing it's based off your win/loss record.
-Friends lets you race people off your friend code list. Of course, they have to be online, and you both have to be searching for friends. Also in your friends list, there is a little padlock next to the name. If the padlock is 'locked' you have a better chance of connecting w/ that person.

Mario Kart DS is the SHITTEST online game I have ever played. It's so fucking frustrating cos there are SO many people who have no fucking lives and just practice on this piece of **** all day long. AND the lagging. I have never seen Yoshi in his egg cart go so fucking fast, and it goes so fuckign SLOW when I'm in it! WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH THIS ****!?

But if I can ever bother with this fucking piece of **** again my code is 038717-858107
I'll say the same.....

I just had one of the most jacked matches. Two people's cars were going impossibly fast. Like, there was no chance in hell I could beat either one of them. I was only matched with one guy and his car was faster than mine.

Is it because I haven't unlocked any other cars or something?

And what is this.. "orange sparks?"

YOSH! Drift Boosting 101!

*puts on motorboard*

In order to get a drift boost, you must drift around a hard shoulder (holding the R button) and then press either left or right, if you do that, you shall get blue sparks. Press the control stick the other way, you get blue sparks. RELEASE THE R BUTTON NOW! You will boost about half as much as you would with a mushroom but it is VERY good.

*takes motorboard off*

Yeah Keith, I get that a lot. I raced against Yoshi in his egg Kart which has terrible top speed but awesome acceleration, yet the fucker somehow had best acceleration and best speed and over-fucking-lapped me on the second lap!!!:redface2:

Well, I am officially fucking FED-UP of Mario Kart online. I was beaten by Bowser in his Kart who was going the speed of the fucking Bullet Bill weapon!!!!!!! :INSERT MAD SMILIE HERE: Rivals = people in your league MY ASS. I have 0 wins and 9 losses, I tried looking for rivals. What does it come up with? One guy was has 645 wins and 10 losses, one guy who has 329 wins and 5 losses and one guy who has 501 wins and 0 losses!!!

Mario Kart DS is the shittest online game I have EVER PLAYED.

Avoid it at all costs to avoid breaking your DS.

You gotta expect that most people are gonna kick your ass. I have one win, and that's 'cause half the racers dropped in the first race. Remember: These are people who have no lives. They just play Mario Kart ALL DAY. They're gonna beat you. I always lose, but I usually come in second. Just learn the course, drive like a fiend (always stay close to the inner edge of a turn) and learn to use your items. Items are your god. They might be faster than you, but they're only getting bannanas up there. You're getting red shells, stars and lightning bolts (if you're really far back). Drive fast, get close, and let loose with everything you got. Then pass 'em and laugh.

And what seems like lag is usually something called snaking. I don't get how it works, but I guess it makes you go a LOT faster. Whatever.
