Lol....The Raiders have not looked impressive at all so far. To see Terrell Pryor try to play QB is pretty weird too. This team still has a lot of work to do. I don't think they will be too bad though. But you never know indeed.
The 49ers did not play well at all in Houston. There were some good but there were a lot of bad.
The good-Running game is still good especially Hunter. AJ Jenkins getting open, Run defense
The bad-Secondary giving up plays. Alex Smith not seeing a wide open Moss. Too many overthrows from all QBs. Punt return coverage
The ugly-Brandon Jacobs and Lemichael James getting hurt. Hope it's not too bad.

Agreed. I'm sure it's gonna sell lots of copies this week. The reviews for the game have been good too.
The 49ers defeated the Broncos in this weekend's pre-season game. The starters didn't do too well against Manning and the offense. I didn't like it at all. Alex Smith had a nice throw to a wide open Vernon Davis for a TD. Glad to see Kaepernick look good in this game too. Anthony Dixon has one more game to prove he deserves to be on the roster.
Lol at the Jets again. For the third straight game, they can't get into the end zone. Lol...Tebow couldn't do any better either. I swear, the media covers this team too much that I hate them now. I didn't use to hate the Jets before but the media has annoyed them for me.

How's the game so far? I just read that the game sold over 900,000 copies on the first day. That's huge numbers and the most it had in a long time. Looks like EA's innovations finally made a difference this year. They should've been doing that a long time ago. I still wish for 2K Sports to have the NFL license too because I loved NFL 2K5.
Anyways, the Preseason concluded today. Hope you guys like what you saw from the pre-season. I liked what I saw in the 49ers/Chargers game. The running game is going to be sick this year, the passing game should be improved and the defense should still continue to cause turnovers. I really liked the Kaepernick to AJ Jenkins combo. I'm liking what I see out of Jenkins so far. Lamichael James, I don't know if he should be returning punts. At least not for this year. Not sure what to think of the Chargers though.

Game's pretty fun. The only slight complaint is that there's no franchise mode. There's kinda is, but you can only play as one person, until you make him retire and play as another player. I have to choose to play as a running back because I kept getting pissed when I'm playing as a QB, the AI running back runs like an idiot.
Makes runs I wouldn't make.Oh, I was playing a online game, and this dude thought he (or she) had won because he (or she) scored on me with 28 seconds left in the game. I was down by 5, 25- 21. I'm on my 20 yd line, playing as the Eagles. DeSean Jackson does a slant route down in the middle, threw it to him, and scored an 80 yd touchdown. :laugh: Won 28-25.
The person I was playing against was probably super pissed because I just scored on his (or her) ass in 9 seconds.
I thought it was over. I don't know though, it's pretty laggy when you're playing a match online. It's possibly because there's a lot of people playing all at once. But the game is fun.

Yeah I been through those kind of games on the PS2 era of Madden games. I don't miss that but do miss the competition. I remember playing against a lot of great players back then. I don't have a PS3 or XBox 360 though so I can't play anymore. But it's cool as I'm mostly on the computer. Lol...Glad to hear that this year's game is good though. That really is an accomplishment for EA.
