Just found this out from a video by Endymion TV, apparently Games Workshop's new launches for the Adeptus/Legio Custodes for the Horus Heresy has gotten so few in pre-orders that third party hobby shops are having "logistical errors"over those specifically, but with no other recent releases. This is due to fan backlash over GW forcing female custodes, breaking lore, and introducing woke elements. (There are already woke factions, did people forget the Eldar and Tau are a thing? Also there's confirmation transexual of Necrons in recent books.) These guys can cover it better than I can. Personally, I don't care and don't see it as woke, I believe, however, GW failed to properly implement this introduction. I'm posting this because hundreds of hobby shops have been struggling post covid thanks to run away inflation and oil prices rising thanks to the orangutan in the White House molesting Iran with missiles and now have to deal with this nightmare. Maybe they realized what happened to all those G-Witch shelf warmer kits and didn't want the humiliation.
