Neon Genesis Evangelion order question

What order do I watch the animated TV Show and movies in?

I have the TV series and also Death & Rebirth as-well-as End of Evangelion. I have heard That I shouldn't watch both movies. I'm confused. Wikipedia isn't helping.

Watch the TV series first, then Death & Rebirth, then EoE. Since Death & Rebirth is basically a recap of the TV show, it's advisable to watch it shortly before watching EoE.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Like I said, Wikipedia was confusing matters. I'm going to start watching these this week and absorb the series in it's entirety, in the next seven days. :thumbs:

You should also watch the series Evangelion is based on, the much superior Space Runway Ideon.

You heard wrong, usually the people that don't like Evangelion usually don't understand the story, I thought it was easy to understand :laugh:

Watching Ideon (namely the movies) can also determines if you like Evangelion for its whole Psychological and Angel Apocalypse stuff or you like it simply for the characters.

Some anime is like that for me. I just watched Spriggan and was relived to find the story not as mixed up as some anime is. The cultural differences go right over my head, sometimes, and I don't have the time to research it all. I mean, I've got to have time for games, work, and the ladies.
