Negative Syndicate and Sentai Mecha

I read on Wikipedia's Negative Syndicate page that Desperado was based on GaoGod from Gaoranger.

Well that one is still under discussion as Ryulong, Fractyl and myself have different theories.
Which one do you personally think it is?
Any guesses on Gajadom yet anyone?

Actually, all the approved ones on Filadelfo's list were confirmed off of the Boukenger DVD releases. The character designer actually states that they did this on purpose as homage to previous sentai.

Ok, I'm gonna have to stop second guessing everyone I guess. >_>

Well, that's pretty kewl though! An interesting easter egg that I didnt even notice while watching the show

The one Gaja was based on was the big bad of the very first Sentai, right?

It was based on Varikikyuun, the hot air baloon mecha of Goranger.
But I can't help but see the Light Suit of Samus in Metroid Prime 2 Echoes on Gajadom...

Gajah = Varikikyuun (Goranger)

Okay, someone has to explain how this one works, because I keep looking at it and I'm just not seeing it. When I first saw him Gajah reminded me of the Squid Orphenoch from Faiz. It's got to be the hat. :laugh:

Some of those others though, are pretty cool. Good eyes!
