I'd say I'll change my vote back to GaoHunter, look:

-Ouga = Gao Hunter

Look at the chest, you can see the black and gold half moon (where that "m" is)and the crocodile snout down the abdomen. Also in the other picture, check the knees and feet.

About Great Five, I'm sure that's it, the head and the cockpit-shaped chest are the points. But it's not a quester robo, it's a Homunculus, the Ultimate Artificial Life Form created by the four Negative Syndicates with various precious, the episode looks awesome.

I'm leaning towards Ouga being based on Fire/Saint Kaiser in this case , the horn and the "M" on his chest are "giveaways" if you ask me.

I think is the Rouki version of Gaohunter. That one had a horn.
The first controversy ever! Too bad the series is near to its end.
Anyway we must wait for the DVD to see which one it is.

Awesome thread. I had no clue about this. I'm gonna have to start watching Boukenger. I've been realy lazy with this year's sentai.

Ninja Hurricane from Rangerboard noted that this MOTW resembled the Red Battlezord/Oh Puncher from Ohranger by noting its arms. It looks correct. I guess this was a "hybrid" mecha homage.

I read the same thing somewhere. Although it's confirmed by Tamotsu Shinohara (Boukenger Character Designer) himself that Gordom is based on Goranger's Variblune only, those arms DO scream Oh Puncher.

Giant God Gordom looks a lot more like something out of Big O than any previous sentai, if you ask me :rolleyes2:.
