For Cannon there has been a Flash King possibility as well.

The Only similarity to FlashKing is V-like symbol on Chest. And with OhRanger Robo: Massive Shouders, Cannon-hat with visor & Massive Legs

It wasn't Takku (Timeranger) as many, me included, would think. Gekkou became an owl because of "The Castle of the Owl", a famous japanese ninja novel made movie in 1998.

I know I recognize that monster's left side (the more robotic side, the white with the blue strips). But from the pics I've seen, they don't match. Maybe's there's a pattern. Like all the Questers were from Dairanger, all the Dark Shadow are from Kakuranger, and most of the Dragon Tribe are from Zyuranger or similar dinosaur or reptile themed shows.

I was watching the episode 36 preview and noticed that new quester robo looked similar to the daidenjin (mainly the head).

here are some phots for comparison:

I mainly noticed the horns, mouth and eye visors, the general shape of the head, and the shoulder armour.

And in this one the pose just looks similar (although due to the bandai logo it didn't give as clear a view if the head, hence the other photo)
