As expected, EA is churning out yet another NFS game, though it's pretty soon after Carbon I guess.
Key details:
- The date 31/05/2007 is prominent in the new teaser, but no hints as to its significance.
- The teaser shows a pretty beat-up, battle-scarred and patched up Mazda RX-7, pimped of course. Some of the patch-up jobs actually look like wound stitches. The camera goes over many of these damages, highlighting the reasons for these. There's obviously an indication that damage will be featured in the game unlike in previous one, and this is confirmed by short scenes of crashes into barriers. I'm personally also hoping that it's also a hint of more Burnout-style gameplay.
- Location is a racetrack circuit, although it doesn't look "official-looking", so whether or not the police will play a part remains in question.
Depending on how you guys look at it, it's something new for the NFS series and might change the experience. Somewhat.
