My review show: Adaptation's End - Episode 1 - Dragonball Evolution

I'm starting my own review show called Adaptation's End, where we review material that's based on previous material and see how it holds up. Is it true to the source material, or is it just another bastardized version that plagues our industry.


In my very first episode I tackle one of the worst adaptations to date, which is an adaptation of a material that was a big part of my childhood, yes I'm reviewing none other than dragonball evolution:

Notes:

- I start to give a brief plot synopsis of dragonball around 1:24, if you know the Dragonball story by heart skip this part til around 3:15
- My first language isn't english so I'm a little hard to understand at the beginning, IMO I get better at it as time goes on
- Criticism is completely welcomed
- I'm fully aware the video is too long, I plan to make future videos way, way shorter
- Yes I do say 'count up the sins', I was running late to something and I didn't have time to think of a more clever catchphrase, I got something new for next episode tho

I saw bits of it a while back, and I plan to review that one too eventually, tho from what I've seen it looks like it's more fateful to the source material than evolution.


I was gonna use the Rock the dragon for a joke but the video was too long as it is. And I would add it if I were reviewing a DBZ adaptation but so far Hollywood has yet to torture us with that
