My First GIMP Banner!

Yo everyone. I just downloaded GIMP a few hours ago, and I painstakingly did a Kamen Rider Double banner. I've never been so frustrated in figuring out how to correctly do what I wanted, but here it is. Keep in mind, it's my first banner. Enjoy. :thumbs:

He might use the Path Tool (Pen Tool for PS).
That's The way I crop and render pictures

I think I tried using the Path Tool.

Gave up on it coz It was too funky for me ^^;;

I did. But now that I got the hang of it, I should be good.

What I ended up using was the free select tool, and the fuzzy select tool. I had to fiddle around with it to actually do what I needed to do. Trust me, that's where most of the frustration came from. :laugh:

There are tons more tutorials involving some harder and more advance stuff that result in more dazzling pieces like this:

Though I'd say just play around with GIMP some more. Let your Imagination run wild! ^_^
