Mummy Shark Comes To Life October 8

Something is stirring in the pyramids…something completely off-brand. Mummy Shark is coming to digital and physical platforms, thanks to Wild Eye Releasing. And yes, it’s what it sounds like. The question of how there can possibly be a mummified shark in the deserts of Egypt is dodged with the revelation that this is an ALIEN shark. It came down from space; that’s how it got here! But then, why would the Egyptians mummify it? Maybe the shark said, “Gimmee a dignified burial or I chomp off your heads.” What this movie proposes is that maybe the mummifyers were sharks themselves. Maybe an entire crew of alien sharks took up residence in Egypt millennia ago, and THEY built the pyramids. Without thumbs? Well, their technology was just that advanced. The shark becomes a problem again when it’s brought back to life by a “vengeful mystic” who’s irritated that a bunch of researchers are poking around the pyramid. The shark is now after them, and it seems not even military jets with

This is the kind of film that makes me question the very fabric of reality. I mean, who greenlit this? What were they thinking? Or, perhaps more accurately, were they thinking?
