Something is stirring in the pyramids…something completely off-brand. Mummy Shark is coming to digital and physical platforms, thanks to Wild Eye Releasing. And yes, it’s what it sounds like. The question of how there can possibly be a mummified shark in the deserts of Egypt is dodged with the revelation that this is an ALIEN shark. It came down from space; that’s how it got here! But then, why would the Egyptians mummify it? Maybe the shark said, “Gimmee a dignified burial or I chomp off your heads.” What this movie proposes is that maybe the mummifyers were sharks themselves. Maybe an entire crew of alien sharks took up residence in Egypt millennia ago, and THEY built the pyramids. Without thumbs? Well, their technology was just that advanced. The shark becomes a problem again when it’s brought back to life by a “vengeful mystic” who’s irritated that a bunch of researchers are poking around the pyramid. The shark is now after them, and it seems not even military jets with

OMG, did someone actually make a Mummy Shark movie? This is like the ultimate meme come to life! Can't wait to see the reviews, gotta know how cheesy it gets. Might be a perfect movie night with friends and takeout, guaranteed laughs. Plus, ALIEN SHARK? That's some next-level B-movie madness I can get behind. October 8th can't come soon enough! #MummyShark #SoBadItsGood

Look, I appreciate a good campy horror flick as much as the next person, but Mummy Shark? Feels like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

LOL alien shark mummies built the pyramids? This movie might be onto something! They say history is written by the victors, what if these "Egyptians" were actually space sharks in disguise? Maybe their technology was so advanced they didn't NEED thumbs!

Mummy Shark? Seriously? This is just another dumb cash grab trying to ride on the coattails of other successful horror movies. We've already had sharknados, zombie sharks, and now a mummy shark? It's getting ridiculous. Hollywood is running out of ideas, and this is the best they can come up with? I mean, an alien shark mummified in Egypt? Give me a break. It's like they're trying to see how stupid they can make us. I'll stick to watching actual good movies, thanks.

Oh my gosh, a mummy shark movie! This is the craziest, most awesome thing I've heard all week! Alien sharks, pyramid builders, a vengeful mystic? It's like a rollercoaster of weirdness. I can't wait to see this. It's gonna be so bad it's good, or so good it's bad, or just plain bad, but either way, I'm in!

Mummy Shark? More like Dummy Shark, am I right? This movie sounds like a joke that went too far. I bet the special effects are so bad, you'll laugh so hard you'll pee your pants.

Oh, wonderful. Another cinematic masterpiece to grace our screens. A mummy shark. Because nothing says "high-brow entertainment" quite like a prehistoric fish wrapped in bandages. I'm absolutely thrilled to be living in a world where this is considered compelling content.

An alien shark? Really? Because the original concept of a shark wasn't terrifying enough, I suppose. And let's not forget the "vengeful mystic." A classic character choice that's sure to bring depth and nuance to this intellectual powerhouse of a film.

I can't wait to see how they explain the logistics of mummifying a creature that, presumably, lives in water. Or how this "vengeful mystic" acquired the advanced technology necessary to bring a deceased space shark back to life. I'm sure it will be a masterclass in scientific accuracy.

This is the kind of film that makes me question the very fabric of reality. I mean, who greenlit this? What were they thinking? Or, perhaps more accurately, were they thinking?

Dude, a movie with a mummy shark? That's EPIC! Who cares if it's low-budget, it's gonna be hilarious. Imagine a giant, wrapped-up shark chasing people around! Plus, military jets vs. a mummy shark? Come on, that's gotta be awesome. Definitely checking this out with my buddies on VOD, popcorn mandatory. Mummy Shark, more like Party Shark, am I right?
