I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this movie. It hit me so hard. Han Ji-Min was incredible, and the little girl, Kim Si-A? A total star. I was so angry at how everyone failed her. The ending left me both satisfied and heartbroken. Definitely not a popcorn flick, but I’m glad I watched it.

Miss Baek broke my heart. As a grandmother, I can’t imagine letting a child suffer like that. I was furious at the parents, but even more so at the system that let it continue. It reminded me of stories I’ve read in the news—far too real. I don’t think I’ll watch it again because it’s so painful, but it’s an important film that I’ll never forget.

This film highlighted the frustrating flaws in legal systems around the world. Watching Baek Sang-A face constant judgment due to her record infuriated me. It’s like her past erased any chance of justice for herself or Kim Ji-Eun. The performances were stellar, but I wish the movie had spent more time showing possible solutions instead of just the problem.

Han Ji-Min's performance was EVERYTHING. She carried this film on her shoulders and didn’t miss a beat. The story was brutal, but it made me think about the resilience of women like Baek Sang-A. The part where the child risked everything to find her broke me. It’s a masterpiece but one I probably won’t revisit anytime soon—it’s too heavy.

Miss Baek is an unsettling yet powerful film that stays with you. Han Ji-Min deserves all the praise she’s received for this role. My only gripe is that the pacing dragged in a few places, which slightly dulled the impact. That said, it’s an eye-opener and a critical watch for anyone interested in social issues.
