Megaranger's Dr. Kubota Sighting

My Japanese friend lent me her VHS video of a J-Dorama called 百年の物語 (Hyaku Nen no Monogatari/The Hundred Year Story). While watching the third part of this miniseries (Heisei Period), I saw Megaranger's Dr. Kubota making a cameo appearance. Here are the pics that I tried taking off my television set.

He worked with Chiyo (played by Nanako Matsushima) in a fashion office in Tokyo.

I also forgot to add that Takeshi Beet (TAKESHI of Takeshi's Castle) was also part of the cast during the Showa Period of the drama.

It seems that the Omega Ranger was present in my house when I took these pics.

It's just a matter of time before Kyusaku comes in here and starts flaming you while bragging about how many dramas he's seen

i DONT GET IT.

It's sad that the "Omega Ranger" is a bigger celebrity than Costanza-Hakase. Really, besides being pudgy and bald, Kubota always reminded me of Jason Alexander. In fact, it's hard for me to watch a scene in Megaranger where he's yelling at the team without dubbing in some lame and expired Seinfeld joke like "I WAS IN THE POOL!"
