Ok guys, while the Captain America issue is a huge one that no one can escape from or not talk about, but there was something else this week that was made of God, Win and Bruce Campbell:

we start with Ash in a familiar situation to him. Falling from a huge high from another dimention back to a time or place missplaced for him. Ash lands at a trash bin, he looks around, makes fun of a bag lady who was just staring at him and notices Daredevil vs. Thunderbolt of the Wreaking Crew (like you expected Ash to be witness to Dr. Doom, Red Skull, The TaskMaster and Ultron vs. the Avengers, HA! not in the Zombie world! you get the C-graders!) the old Ladies turns out to be a deadite and warns ash of the pending doom, Ash tackles her to the ground and have a tussle, DareDevil and Thunderbold just...stop their fight and Daredevil proclaims "Picking on a defencive old lady, for shame!", Daredevil picks a fight with Ash and in typical Ash fashion, picks to help Thunderbolt.

Cut to Ash lounging at a cafe reading the Daily Bugel with the frontpage saying "WREAKING CREW ESCAPES RIKER'S!". Ash gives a resentful "oops". Ash begins to read about the Avengers and desides to pay them a visit to help them warn about the pending doom. Ash arives at the Avenger's Mansion and as a welcoming gift, blows up their intercom to get their attention, this, oviously pisses off Luke Cage to no end. He soon explains his stituation with the Deadites to the Avengers, but all of them are thinking that the guy's gone off his rocker, so the Scarlet Witch sends Ash to Central park to "Cool off", as he is sent, he see's the skies turn pink and purple with lighting, setting off a repressed memory of Ash's when he remmbers what happend just before comming to this world.

The Afterlife. It seems St. Gabriel denied him the right to go to heaven, all because of his Chainsaw. He ask Ash to leave it at the gates, to witch Ash replies "hows about my boomstick?" just as that witty back and forth happend, the sounds of flesh being eaten is heard. It's Sentury, He has turned into a Zombie, he shoves Ash wth his awsome power into a worm hole and ends up at the Zombie marvel world.

the Avengers go to envestigate the happenings, only to see Ash warning everyone to run for their lives, The avengers are now pissed and Spider-Man wraps Ash in a web straight jacket to leave him. Just then the zombie Sentury apears and begins to devower the heroes and the humans near him. The Heroes are becomming zombies and begin to rip and tear all over. Spider-Man goes back to save a civilian chick, only to be attacked by a few Avengers and in turn becoming a zombie. Ash is now by himself and must fight the zombies himself.

So far, so good. It has all the zanyness of Army of Darkness (with Ash not knowing witch side to fight) goodness and all the over-the-top gore and zombie action of the Marvel Zombies series. At the mist of chaos and controversy, it's nice to see something difrent and fun to read that at the end, just makes you hungry for more. No pun intended.

**** yes. I salute you, fellow Deadite. Now, have you read any of the other AoD comics? Does this first issue you just read match the sheer awesomeness that has come before? If a reader has not picked up Marvel Zombies, but picks this up, will they be able to follow the story? Thanks for the review, bub, and remember: Hail to the King, Baby. :buttrock:

Ok, to answer everything:

no, I havent read any of the AoD comics, I wish I did now, but I didnt.
Marvel Zombies wise, it's great since it's basicaly at the begining of it all, so it's good for both MZ and AoD fans as well. As far as awsomeness goes, it's up there, not as great as say the movie, but the comic is just as good.
