Manhunt 2 - Oh dear...

Not only has it been banned in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Austrlia (where it's the only video game in UK history to be banned*), Nintendo and Sony are both refusing Take Two/Rockstar their license to publish the game.

It's got an Adult Only rating in the USA, and both companies don't do "AO".

So the game, which has been finished and reviewed by some magazines, is not getting a release (unless it's edited down into an M-rated game).

This game apparently is the most gruesome game in history. An example of why it's AO is there's a level/sequence where you have to pull off a man's testicles with pliers. With the Wii, you use the controller as the pliers.

It got banned in the UK because it makes the player kill people, without a substantial/contextual purpose. It's killing people for the sake of it.

Games like GTA have solid storylines, and provide the gamers options (for example) whether to kill innocent civilians or not - you can complete the game without thoughtless violence.

Manhunt 2 however has no "story" (it has a plot, but not a developing story) and is just torture after torture, encouraging the audience to kill people with no motive. Further more, it doesn't give the gamers options - it forces you to use weapons like saws.

That's why it's banned in PAL regions, and rated AO in the USA.

And I'm actually glad it has been analy fucked. These type of games are just wrong.

^ Definitely. Granted society these days is more de-sensitized to graphic images and all, but this takes it WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too far.
