Low Profile Talent Disscusion

The only established actor to take the dive into Toku was Hosokawa, aka Hibiki , but that was because he was a big Kamen Rider fan and it was a dream of his to act in one.
He's never actually had a lead in a prime-time drama has he? I always thought it was kinda depressing that a good chunk of the Hibiki cast hasn't done much since then. Though I think Todoroki's actor is mostly focusing on his band right now.

Who's he?

Kamen Rider G3 in Agito. He seems to get more supporting roles though, I thought it was so weird seeing him in Tantei Gakuen Q.

I believe he has. I need to look at his filmography again, but he's well respected.

Ah, I see, I see.

How many Of you think that Two main riders for next year, were actors from drama's involving boys from this year.

You got two that's Gokusen and ROOKIES. however my prediction about how toei chooses his rider might be an coincidence. I began making my prediction during den-o but it happen again in kiva but that's three times i'm not sure if it's going to be for an fourth time.

anyway if you don't know what i mean read the first post.

You also have to remember that an actual audition takes place too. It maybe coincidence that the current leads are drawn from these type of dramas...

It's not really below a drama... I mean, its a well known show. You WILL get exposure, no matter what. Just from endorsements alone and you're guaranteed a movie.

It's just that usually talents (idols, gravure models) usually are the onces who go to these auditions because they look at it as a career launching pad. You just won't find actors like Takuya Kimura in them because obviously ... wtf are you doing acting in a show with rubber monsters?

I know, But i thougt Boys Sells Toy's so i thougt the producers watch their talent first in these kind of dramas and than ask them for auditions.

i don't think Auditions just come freely as for some actors they are asked while other goes audition because they want too learn acting. and if they already acted the producer migth watched their works from an other show before asking them for auditions.

And beside for everything theirs Auditions. i just think toei asked those actors from those drama too come auditions.

Boys don't sell toys. That's an obvious fact if you look at Kabuto's ratings.

Hun? Of course you just don't go into an audition without a previous resume of your work....

Toei doesn't ask, I believe the talent's managers does the hunting for them... ..

It's Nagano.

Johnny Kitagawa owns the Entertainment industry. If Nagano wanted the role bad enough Johnny probably got him the role.

That old man has that much power. I wouldn't doubt it if that's how it went off.
