The live action Ace Attorney movie stars Narimiya Hiroki as the series’ main character "Naruhodo Ryuichi" (Phoenix Wrigh), and he’ll co-star alongside Kiritani Mirei as "Ayasato Mayoi" (Maya Fey). Phoenix Wright’s rival "Mitsurugi Reiji" (Miles Edgeworth) will be portrayed by actor Saito Takumi.

I've always thought Ace Attorney would make a great tv show. Each game could have been a miniseries while the trilogy would make a good year long series (like Rider).

A movie seems okay too.

I don't think it would works as a series or movie since its really not a drama as much as it is a comedy. Sure there is a ton of drama but the mood is very light and tense situations aren't like that for too long. Personally I would have preferred an anime series or even an OVA, I don't think it works in live action but hey I'm sure this will be goofy fun even if not as awesome as the game. Hopefully this keeps the franchise alive and we get a new sequel, not to mention I'm still hoping for the second Edgeworth game to be localized...
