Anyone seen Linda Linda Linda? It's about 4 girls forming a band to play The Blue Heart's Linda Linda at a school festival. It has Maeda Aki of BR fame and Bae Du-Na in it. More info at

Yeah I've known about this movie for like 9 months now. I haven't seen it yet, but have the album to the movie. What made me get the album was the fact the music was done by James Iha formerly of Smashing Pumpkins.

Does the soundtrack have any Blue Heart's tracks on it?

The movie is no War and Peace but enjoyable.

I don't remember any, but a collection of their works came out a few years ago, as well as a tribute album.

No Blue Hearts tracks on it, but there's a couple tracks from a band called Base Ball Bear which I think are pretty good. Apparently there's been a bunch of Blue Hearts tribute albums.

BoukenBlue is in this movie but has a very small role.
He comes out towards the end backstage.

This movie was nice. Checked it out couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure where in the movie the base ball bear tracks play. I did finally find some Blue Hearts, they have a poppy Ramonesy feel to their sound. If you ever felt like sharing any of the base ball bear tracks or the パーランマウム tracks I wouldn't say no.
