like I said, having "rider" in a group which, at the moment, is comprised of only Kaijin is just not right to me. at the rate this is going, we'll probably stick with my idea of the Rider World-Restoration Front(R.W.R.F.) as the name of the good guys, and currently I'm leaning towards calling the villains Shini-Kage, the Army of Darkness

sounds good to me senpai. rider world restoration front sounds badass and as for the kaijin group I Think the army of darkness is fitting for them

Well for the opening post like I said we start in a battle. But what kind if battle do you want it to be, a rageful fight where everything exploding in the background. Or a sorrowful one like we just lost a rider and rain is pouring down

I'd rather start in the heat of a pulse-pounding battle than start with tragedy.

I guess now we should come up with the rules. just as a note, I don't want to exclude anybody from this RPG, nor do I want to set up a regularity restriction that could get people kicked out if not followed

I've Got A Question there isn't rider player killing involved right(forgive me for the question i'm a dot hack fan)and what are we going to do for the game music?

no, there isn't player killing. the only killing would likely be mostly of monsters, and only of major characters if the story says so. and since this is done through forum posting, there likely won't be anything of music.

as for rules, I've come up with a few:

1. no godmodding or auto-hitting unless the story allows it(i.e. your character is in an "hour of power" where their power is temporarily boosted, allowing them to take down several foes quickly without opposition)

2. be courteous and respectful of other players, gicing them as much acknowledgement as you yourself would want

3. try not to diverge the story into a new path without consulting me or my co-mods(Icefish, drakeonis, and Arctic_Rival)

4. try not to hog the spotlight/act like the story is all about you.

5. please take turns posting. the main plot won't progress until all initial members have posted at least once

6. if you can't post for a while, have somebody cover for you. if your character has no activity for 1 week, I'll send a reminder. after 2 more reminders, if you're not back or nobody has covered for you, your character may temporarily be written out until you return

7. for players not involved in the planning thread, you can reserve a position for 5 days, and that reservation can be renewed 3 times

8. the main story will start one week after this sign-up thread has been posted. characters introduced after the RPG has started will be introduced as the plot dictates

9. have fun and get along with each other


what do you guys think? any additions/modifications you think are necessarry?

But question: Since this is looking like a good v. evil scenario, are Dark Riders out of the questions/villains?

so if you want, you can reserve a character/rider now, or wait until the sign up thread is created. if you're a rider, you can be canon to the official kamen rider series, or an OC(original character). if you choose the latter choice, you are strongly encouraged to give that character some connection to the rider power's original user.

the currently taken riders are as follows:

edit: as for you're second question, if you're a dark rider(or any rider at all for that matter) you can choose to have defected from the good guys and joined up with the villains, but you would need a good reason
