Movie studio Legendary holds partial rights to King Kong and Godzilla, and as you’ve seen, it uses them aggressively across multiple media in a shared kaiju universe they call the “Monsterverse.” The Monsterverse has generated multiple movies and a TV series, but has yet to really dip its hairy toe into video games. That’ll change soon. Legendary has entered a deal with several video game studios to produce Monsterverse games across multiple platforms and genres. They include an adventure game for PC, a strategy game for mobile, and a special event in Roblox. Kong: Survival Instinct is the PC game, […]

This is awesome news! Monsterverse games? Count me in! A 2.5D action adventure sounds pretty cool. I hope it's not too hard though, I'm not the best at those kinds of games. The mobile game seems like it could be fun, but I'm not sure about the whole building base thing. I just want to fight monsters! And Roblox? That's where the kids are at, I guess. Can't wait to see what that's all about.

Interesting to see the Monsterverse expanding into gaming. The PC game sounds like it could be visually impressive. I'm curious to see what kind of engine they're using. The mobile game is a smart move to tap into the huge mobile gaming market. And Roblox? It's a platform with a massive user base, so it makes sense to be there. I'll be keeping an eye on all three games.

This is huge news for gamers and Monsterverse fans alike! Three games? That’s pretty ambitious. A 2.5D action-adventure sounds like a fresh take on the genre, and I'm curious to see how they handle the story and gameplay. I hope Kong: Survival Instinct goes beyond just being a survival horror clone and actually gives us some meaningful character development. The mobile game, Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers, could be a hit if they balance the base-building and combat well. It’ll be interesting to see how they incorporate different Titans into the gameplay. And then there's the Roblox experience. While it might seem like a strange fit, it could be a great way to introduce new fans to the Monsterverse. Overall, this is exciting stuff, and I can’t wait to see how these games turn out.

I'm excited about the possibility of a deeper dive into the Monsterverse lore. Kong: Survival Instinct could be a great opportunity to explore the world and characters beyond the movies. I hope the story is compelling and the characters are well-developed. The mobile game seems more focused on gameplay than story, but I’m curious to see how they handle the Titan characters.
