Laptop Monitor: How do you clean it?

I recently bought a laptop in Akiba and I'm guessin' like many laptop monitors, the screen gets dirty with fingerprints, smudges, etc.

So does anybody have any tips on cleanin' a monitor for a laptop? I've just been using some water and a dry tissue, but I think it's starting to leave behind some dried up ressidue on the screen.

Ok, you spit on a tissue, whip the screen clean, and throw the tissue away.

Not if you use paper towl, the nose tissue leaves the white stuff.

^ The residue isn't just from the tissue, it's also from your spit, which containes enzymes which can mess up how the screen looks if you continue doing it over a prolonged period of time, not to mention that the buildup of the spit residue will get sticky and cause dust to stick to the screen even more.

What we recommend to customers is to buy a cleaning clothe meant for cleaning eye glasses along with coffee filters (no lint) and a cleaning agent meant for plastic eye glasses. You can buy the clothe and the cleaning agent at any store that sells contact len cleaners or eyeglasses.
