GoGoV was an unusual series; the main plot involved a team of siblings using their powers not only to battle demon-monsters, but to save lives and protect innocent civilians. The American series also achieved recognition; since GoGoV chose not to add any "New" members to the team, US producers showed a surprising amount of creativity and brought in an original 6th Ranger for their adaptation.
Now, onto the toys!
First up are the 99 Machines! From right to left -Red Ladder, Blue Thrower, Green Hover, Yellow Armor & Pink Aider. Pretty basic designs.

They unite to form Victory Robo! I like the design but its a little too unstable; the upper torso doesn't really stay attached too well. Armed with the traditional sword-weapon, Victory Robo also has extending arms (used in the series for "Grab & Punch" combo attacks).

The Max Shuttle, an environmentally-friendly support craft (its supposedly powered by solar energy from the shiny panels).

It transforms into a smaller robot, the LinerBoy. LinerBoy is incredibly agile in the series but its an absolute brick in the toyline. Aside from the arms there's no real articulation here. It tries to compensate for that by having a laser-firing shield.
LinerBoy & Victory Robo can combine, resulting in:

Max Victory Robo! It looks good, but again there's not a whole lot of movement here.
Later on another series of Machines are introduced: the Mars Machines! Five color-coded spaceships, overall basic design but somewhat improved over the original 99 Machines.
They combine in 2 unique ways. First, the Crawler configuration:

And then into another Robo, Victory Mars!

Definitely an improved design, articulation is better but still not quite perfect. Instead of the traditional sword or blade weapon, Victory Mars carries a missile-shooting lance. Great little detail.
But all these guys pale in comparison to GoGoV's Supreme combination!
The GoLiners are 5 train-based Machines. They can carry the 99 Machines-
Or the Mars Machines (Not pictured).
Of course, they can all link up to create an actual train configuration:

ON some occasions the GoLiners are towed by the Max Shuttle-

Finally, the GoLiners can unite into one more Robo: the GRAND LINER!

The tallest combining Robo ever made. Its heavy and immobile, but who cares?! He's 18 inches of pure plastic :love

GoGoV's not exactly a spectacular series, but I just can't hate the franchise that gave us the awesome train combiner.
