Keith has NEVER played Pokemon!!

What exactly is the Missingno./M/Whatever? I heard that Nintendo used it as a test Pokemon or something but never removed it from the game. There were other glitches in Red/Blue that I read about but I've forgotten them, and most of them seem to have been Nintendo tests or programs that they forgot to remove and left them in the game, resulting in "glitches".

Did the S.S. Anne truck really let you catch Mew? I went there so many times, used Golem's and Machamp's Strength as instructed by some buddy but nothing happened. :(

I think the truck trick only worked in the Japanese version... might have been something a programmer snuck in?

It sucks that the only thing you get for working SO hard at getting all 150 Pokémon is a stupid on screen diploma -.-

Hah. In Japanese Yellow, you get Mew as a reward for getting all 150 Pokemon, but in the US you get a stinking diploma. In Japanese Crystal I think, the GS ball lets you capture Celebi in the Ilex Forest Shrine, but the US version removed it. However, using Gameshark, you can get the GS ball in the US version and capture Celebi, which puzzles me. If they didn't make the GS ball available to gamers, when why oh why did they still include the entire Celebi capture portion in the game instead of removing it? For Gameshark users?

If only the truck could be used to get to Johto (Why did they put a truck there anyway? Most people would go to S.S. Anne and disembark without ever getting to see the truck, so what's the point of it? Realism? Truck carries the ship's rubbish? :rolleyes2: )... I remember trying to Surf out of the stupid S.S. Anne sea area hoping to get to Johto. Oh how gullible I was then. I thought that since Johto existed in Gold and Silver, it existed in Red too and that it was in the West. Only later did I realise real life geography doesn't apply to games.

Google, thats how I found out about this dude(it, whatever)

I know what it does, what I mean is what it is in the program. I read that it was actually some test Pokemon, supposedly 000 or 152. Nintendo left in in the game after their tests because of bad memory and released it to the public, causing this glitch. I need confirmation about this though.

Has anyone heard of the cheat in the first few copies of the Japanese version of Diamond/Pearl to obtain Darkrai (and Sheimi I think)? Too bad Nintendo Japan corrected the glitch for their later releases of the game.

Alot of kids knew about it 1 week after Red and Blue was released >.> I did to but never captured one >.> until I was determined to catch one when I kept losing to my brothers godlike Snorlax Duo and Mewtwo

Yeah I remember that was going on a toys r' us a hour and half from my house, I wanted to go but couldn't, so I did what every other whiny middle schooler did back then and cranked up some Linkin Park for a day. ;)

I was 9 at that time, so I did what any normal 9 year old would do to go >.> say I could win money at the tournament and say theres a 100% chance I would win <.< which I didn't though but I did win the lvl 1-10 cup, I would have entered the 100 cup but my Blue was erased by my cousin -__- (I remember my entire party and the lvls too >.>). The Mew was worth it for the whole 5 hours spent at the Mall.
