Friday

The week continues the investigation into Alliance’s science department’s controversial research of biological enhanced crops and animals in the Miren Desert. Alliance headquarters seem wary of the actions taken by the scientist of the former Shocker Corporation. Shocker is the Corporation responsible for the massive casualties on the last day of the Old War, which in turn lead us to questions Alliance’s science department’s motives. Alliance Headquarter has denied any comments made on the subject matter.
As of 17:00(5:00pm) Friday, a group of reformist led by Deputy Director Kaname Karasawa. An Alliance executive started a protest in front of Alliance headquarters in Futo City. Kaname although an alliance executive from headquarters, has been questioning his peer’s motive and pushes for a reform of its executive branch. Kaname is also the leading constructor for a new Administrating Enterprise, a bureaucratic organization made to keep corporate actions in check.
21:00(9:00pm) Alliance Headquarters dispatched its security arms to stop the protesting, within half an hour of security action the riot turned chaotic as the reformist became violent under the pressure of Alliance Security. The reformist was said to have deployed an unregistered Rider (Ronin) to decimate the security force, this led to a great turn of events. When the protest became marked by Alliance Headquarters as terrorist actions, and countered the insurgency with massive military might and brute strength from its strongest military unit “The Enforcersâ€. A massacre began as Alliance Riders decimated unarmed protester in search of the Ronin Rider and Kaname’s armed terrorist force.
At 23:00(11:00pm) The Enforcers’s search was called off by Alliance headquarters, as Kaname and his forces slips away possibly still hiding out in Futo City. In the wake of the search the entire city has been placed under quarantine. Civilian casualties’ numbers are increasing in the hundreds as Alliance rescue team started a cleanup of its protest grounds. This incident will go down into history as “Terror Friday.â€
Chapter 1:
"Renegade"
Saturday Morning
6:48am
In a dark room, lit by a computer screen, sits a woman sipping her coffee. She places the glass down to adjust her web camera, before typing on keyboard to encrypt her transmission a sad blank stare befalls her face as she start her recording.
Mika Tsuchiya (Rider Intel Operator)
This information comes to me from Dual Face. I’m sure it will soon reach the Alliance Tactical Unit Enforcers and the rest of Oracle. But I wanted to bring it here to all the Riders first; I do deeply care for all your well being and I’m here to warn you about what will conspire within the next day. The big massacre from yesterday has stirred a lot of our emotions and we do grief for the dead. But Alliance’s deed will not go unpunished, it isn’t right for the Enforcers to drag civilian lives into its internal Alliance conflict. But this is the harsh reality of war.
Someone is always caught in the crossfire of velocity and lead. This doesn’t give the right for Kaname and his people to cause such a ruckus either. In my opinion both are very wrong, but because of Kaname he has now opened the door to something bigger. Before warned everyone …. Decade is about to make a decoration to the Alliance, in about 10 minutes. If you are not up to the upcoming conflict please lay down your arms and escape while you can. Unless you are here in Futo City, Trapped like me. Good luck to you all.
Mika pressed Send on her computer screen, and wiped a tear away from her eyes. She then turned to look behind her to see the door open and a injured man leave her house. She didn’t say anything to him, she did not want him to leave, but this was for her own safety. She closed her eyes to try to escape reality for a moment, before she walked over to her window opening the blinds to look outside. The Sky was lightly lit in an amber color; she continued to sip her coffee as she looked on to what could be her very last sunrise.
