I'm watching Kamen Rider Stronger this week myself, it is really awesome.

I'm on episode 26 at the moment.

I hate to learn that Kyoko Okada had died long time ago now back in 1986. she was awesome as Tackle. she was a beautiful young woman too!!!

I really enjoy her playing as Tackle.

Even though I only understand just a little bit of Japanese I really enjoy this show. I'm watching it raw too, since no subs are available.

He was Chojin Bibyun in the series of the same name back in 1976.

He's doing pretty great now. He's even meeting with famous people!

Sasaki's an amazing guy, we're lucky he's still around and I really, really hope Toei does something with him and the other old crew before it's going to be too late. Apparently he was good friends with Okada despite never meeting onscreen, and really took her passing hard.

Nice! He looks much healthier there than other photos I'd seen of him in recent years.

Basically, it's a bar/tavern/pub-sort of place. Randomly: where did you guys eat at anyway when you were here? :laugh:

Actually, KouAidou cooked for Lynxara and I much of the time since she was going to a university there which is kind of how the whole trip was able to even happen in the first place. We also ate at this tiny bakery where I was introduced to the awesome power of curry-bread which provoked a total Yakitate Japan style reaction in me. I also had tempura in this great place that was located on the upper floors of the edo history museum. Also had the best fries of my life at an Eat-Run in one of the trains stations.

I wasn't gonna go all the way to Japan just look for a KFC. :laugh:

I agree, Okada struck me as one of those actresses who, were she still around, we'd probably be seeing all over the place. I've always wanted to see Toei use one of the old Rider girls as the person running the cafe/coffee shop/photo studio/whatever in a new series; either Ono Hizuru (Junko) who is awesome, or if she were still with us, Okada.

Something about Kanna Mori as Natsumi reminded me of Junko for reasons I can't quite explain but yeah I agree that would be cool way to bring them back. Maybe do something like that with the actresses who played Kyoko and Kasumi in Black.

I did like the new outfit, in the same sort of way I like Decade-era Apollo Geist: as a design it keeps everything important and builds upon the original. I don't have any evidence to back it up outside of one or two vague comments I've read, but I would not be at all surprised if those partly came out of unused stuff for any further revamp movies, since THE NEXT basically killed any chance of a third one. That post-credits scene is surprisingly prophetic!

If the writing on those movies had managed the balance between the original and modern the way a suit like that does then both First and Next would be such better movies and right now we'd probably be looking at blurry pics in the rumors threads for "Kamen Rider The Strong". :laugh:

I think the only problem with stronger was that the his henshin pose was unbelivably strange. But thats about it.
