Kamen rider poses in Henshin!

It's just a generation problem in my opinion. New gen riders do have henshin poses, just that it's not as long and as fancy as the Showa Riders, because really, it's a bit ridiculous to do a henshin pose like Kamen Rider X now a days. It's just a bit awkward for the new generations. I can say it's too much.

Oh, btw, the whole throwing-the-belt-around-the-waist thing for Den-O and Zeronos IS a henshin pose, IMO.

Then can putting my pants on be my henshin pose?
It's true that after Blade(Hibiki not counting "oviouse" reasons") The posing got alittile simple/dull. Altought I think Den-O's was when he swiped his pass, it's basiclly the same as Kabuto's when you think about it.

I heard somewhere that the showa riders henshin pose has a reason, it us to activate their transformation sequence. Since the majority of showa riders are cyborgs, It's like when they move their arms in certainway it causes the machinary insides their body to activate in certain way, but then I might be bullsh**ing you. ;-)

The "simple" poses are just a natural progression of how it's more about the Henshin item now, rather than what's basically the process of summoning the item (the original intent of the Henshin Pose.)

Hongo does the hand-waving to make the belt appear. Tsukasa's got his in his pocket, but he needs to do stuff to get it to work. He needs to do A LOT of stuff if you think about it, so he can't get too fancy. It's just a different way of doing things.

Or somethin'. As far as being a generational thing, I think transforming with a phone or card or big beetle are every bit as inherently ridiculous as waving your arms about, but Kamen Rider has always excelled at making the inherently ridiculous into the totally awesome, so neither one is bad.

Every Rider in Kamen Rider Kabuto except for Kabuto and Gattack had their own "Henshin" pose while they were saying, "HENSHIN!" Wataru and the male IXA users had different poses. I think the best henshin poses were in Faiz, Ryuki and Blade.

You posted this right after I showed what Kabuto and Gattack's henshin poses were.

Den-O and Zeronos used post-henshin poses, highlighting the difference between the Imajin. If I gave you each of their catchphrases, I'm sure you can picture the exact pose they stood in.

I believe Ichigo and Nigo used the hand motions to rev up the fans in their belt. Iga could tell you for sure.

Agito probably has the most 'Showa' of henshin poses.

DiEnd's is still a bit in-the-works, but Decade has a specific Henshin pose. Belt out, belt on, open belt, card out, flip card, do cool belt-closing motion.

What? Every Rider has a henshin pose, except Den-O who has a post-Henshin pose.

DiEnd's is still a bit in-the-works, but Decade has a specific Henshin pose. Belt out, belt on, open belt, card out, flip card, do cool belt-closing motion.

DiEnd's is also pretty set: Gun out, card out, card flip, card insert, extend gun, point gun, shoot gun

For some reason out of the Heisei Rider series, Blade and Kuuga were my favorites.

Kabuto was just strange, most of the time, the Riders summon their zectors but never have a scene where they have to put the belt on before changing into their Rider forms while its been clearly shown that the belts don't contain the real power and it has to be carried around wherever they go.
