The best part was when OOO's and his clones used the medals to be every single OOO form to beat the **** out of Gara the Alchemist in set 1 -6 core medal monster form

There's no basis for saying they work the exact same way. Were the Greeeds all part of a 10 tailed Greeed and then separated? Can Eiji talk to his core medals when there inside him? No, so there obviously different.

No proof that the productions not think the same either. It's like some sort of mythology. The existence of clones are part of that myth too. And people may use the same principle based on those myth.

The Greeed are made of Core Medals. Combine all and you get Chaos Greeed or whatever they called. The Tailed-beasts are chakra that combined all together become 10-tailed beast. It's not specifically similar, but at least the similarities are there.

And Eiji CAN talk to his purple Core Medals for one episode, where he tries to obtain control of PuToTyrano combo. He might not have to beat up that medal like what Naruto did to Kyuubi just to get the Chakra form. Heck, how often Naruto speak to Kyuubi through the series? We get to see that scene a lot because of how long the series goes. OOO only have 48 episodes. I'm sure they don't want to waste time on Eiji trying to fight for the control of that combo...

We may not realized it, but it seems some things just appeared the same to others, even if the production is totally different.

That's what I've been trying to tell you! How are you trying to tell me that?!

Is Eiji's evil dad the Hokage?
