In the middle ages, a flimsy, fragile truce had been going on between the Vampires and the Humans, with both sides wary of each other, and ready to do battle with one another should someone from either side inflicted harm on the other. Of course, it was only a matter of time before that fragile peace shattered -- and that time was the arrival of vile, monstrous creatures known as Fangire -- vampires that gave up their human form in order to become a demonic beast that sucked on the life-energy of humans. While at first the Humans and vampires declared war on each other, light would be shed upon the true culprits, and the Humans and Vampires, along with the Mer-people and the werewolves, would band together, albeit reluctantly, to put an end to the treachery of the Fangire race once and for all. While most of the humans believed that the Fangire wont bother them anymore, the Vampires knew better, and with the help of the Mer-people, the Werewolves, and a mad scientist from the human race, created four bioweapons known as Kivats, as well as a myriad of other weapons, for their respective descendants to use in the event of the resurgence of the Fangires.

Surely enough, the Fangires, after a long period of dormancy, emerged from the shadows to begin wreaking havoc on the human race once more. Unbeknownst to many, the four descendants chosen to use the Kivats have emerged from the shadows as well, and the fate of Humanity rests upon the victor of this new Fangire War.....

----------------------------------

It was a sunny afternoon in the city of Tokyo, and many people went about with their usual business. In one particular area of the city, classes have just concluded at a well-known high school, with many of the students leaving the campus to do whatever they pleased. Some students would hit the arcades to play round after round of the popular fighting games available while blowing off their homework. Some would head home or the library and totally immerse themselves in their studies, while blowing off the chance to have a bit of fun. Others would hook up with each other and go on a date, neglecting their studies as well.

However, one particularly attractive female student did not fit into any of these three categories. The student -- more popularly known at her school as Yuki Kruger -- instead chose to head to a local park that most of her fellow classmates did not visit. Upon arrival at the local park, Yuki crawled along the edge of the park's paved walkway, seemingly searching for something. Soon enough, Yuki did find what she was searching for: a skeleton of a fully-eaten fish. Yay....I feel so lucky today... she smiled softly as she reached out for the fishbone. However, that smile would lessen slightly as she witnessed a calico cat pounce upon the fishbone she desired, instead prompting her to reach out and attempt to pet the cat. "Nee, Neko-sama......Wil you please let me have that fishbone. I would like to use it for something," Yuki pleaded with the cat softly. The cat, however, merely responded, by looking at the teenage girl with expressed disinterest, and merely bounded off to enjoy its pickings. This caused Yuki to sigh in defeat, watching the cat run away with her fishbone. I guess I won't be able to make it after all... Yuki thought to herself, a rather sad frown evident on her face at that point.

Unfortunately for Yuki, her misfortunes would not end there, as a loud voice cut into her thoughts. Looking back to see who it was, Yuki instantly saw a group of elementary-age boys standing not too far from her location, mischievous looks evident on their faces. "Hey! It's the creepy Onee-chan! Get her!" The boy in the front -- presumably the leader of the ragtag group -- commanded to the other boys as he picked up a good sized rock and hurled it at Yuki, who responded in turn by blocking the rock with her arms. At once, the other boys obeyed, and began to pick up and throw rocks at Yuki, who began to run away in fear. Waaah! Why do they always pick on me? I've never bothered them once.... Yuki cried, continuing to run away from the onslaught of rocks thrown at her by the schoolchildren.

Kurosaki walked down the street after looking up at the sun he said "damn it why did it have to be so nice out today." He took the cap off a large bottle of water and took a long drink. After replaceing the cap he said "I may need whater all the time like I did before I became Shooter but I still need it from time to time do to me only being half a mer-folk and this Damn nice day isnt helping.

As he continued walking he came to a park he saw a girl being tormented by some rotten elementary school kids. He thought "good thing I learned how to do this from dad." Kurosaki Took a long drink from his waterbottle and spit shots of water out of his mouth at high velocity strikeing each rock as they flew threw the air nocking them away from yuki. Kurosaki stood inbetween the girl and the kids and said "now did your parents teach you to respect your elders you wouldnt want me telling them what your doing would you?" The kids turned to kurosaki and one of said with a smug look on his face "you dont know our parents." Kurosaki got a evil grin on his face and said "you dont think so I work for a detective agency I know more about your parents and family then even you do." The kids got nervous looks on there faces and turned to yuuki apologizeing and then ran off. Kurosaki laughed and said "That may have been a bluff but it sure worked well enough."

Kurosaki walked up to yuuki and said "are you alright Miss?" When he looked at yuuki Kurosaki thought "strange I dont know why but I feel like I should know her."

Some distance away in the same park, what appeared to be a young girl in a white dress was searching for something as well. There were a few things odd about this girl however. For one, her movements, while normal, seemed a bit rigid somewhat. Then came the white roses that were in her long, flowing blond hair...and finally the rose that seemingly covered where her right eye was located. Her single yellow eye was scanning her surroundings, searching for her target. If she enjoyed the scenery, it didn't show on her face, which was stoic and devoid of any emotion. It was then that she heard it. Voices. That meant people. She found them. Friends. But she noticed something else. The voices sounded mean...and hateful. This caused the girl to remember what happened the last time she heard mean voices. Rocks being thrown. Yelling. Curses. Fear. Hatred.

Not wanting to go through that again, the girl hid behind a nearby tree as she got closer to the voices. Peeking out from the side of the tree, she saw with her single yellow eye the source of the voices. It was a group of children slinging rocks at another girl, who was cowering in fear and running away from the objects thrown her way. This confused the girl. The girl that was running seemed to be normal enough...for what reason would...it then dawned on her. There must be something wrong with her. Something that made her an outcast, something like...herself. "A...friend?" The girl whispered to herself. Being silent as not to attract the attention of the schoolchildren, the girl in white skirted out of the park, following the other girl...hoping that she found a friend in the process.

However, she quickly hid again once Kurosaki showed up and drove the children away. Is he...a friend...of hers? ...does that mean...I'm...too late? She thought, making sure to stay hidden as her single eye kept it's gaze on both Kurosaki and Yuki...

Else where in the park a young man saw Kurosaki save the girl before smirking. "I see I'm not the only nice guy in this town." He said then saw another girl looking at Yuki and Kurosaki. He smiled and walked over to her and smiled. "You know you can still go and talk to them you know." He said to the young girl with a warm smile on his face. "Ten to one says Sakura and Takada are ticked I haven't called in yet but helping people is my thing"

Elsewhere at a building called "Paranormal Hunters" two people looked at the clock then at the door. One was a girl about 18 the other a man in his mid thirties. "Geeze where is he? He was suppose to call in hours ago?" The red head Sakura asked her boss. "Calm down Sakura-chan knowing him he's busy saving another damel in distress"Takada said sighing. Ryuki always had a way of seeing girls in trouble and helping them out but he was so dense when they ended up crushing on him, which usually ended with Takada letting the girls down gently. "That boy better call in or else I'm not paying him this week!"

Rose kept watch over Kurosaki and Yuki and was a little surprised to see someone approach her, though it didn't show on her face. "I...do not...want to disturb them...sir..." That was her excuse, her voice monotone. She was also sort of glad that this person didn't start yelling at her and thought that maybe he would have wanted to be her friend. "Sir...My name is...Rose...what is...yours?" She asked curiously.

Ryuki smiled at Rose. "I better not reveal I can see past lies" He thought before held his hand out at her. "My name is Ryuki." He said smiling then looked over at Kurosaku and Yuki before his cell phone off. "Looks like I have to go Rose-chan I hope I can see you again." He told her before walking away towards a white motorcycle with the name "Rev Hunter" on the side of it.

Having been rescued by a young man who threatened the children with a bluff, Yuki smiled at the young man -- Kurosaki -- as she grabbed his hand and held it with both of hers. "Thank you very much, sir. I honestly do not understand why these children throw rocks at me. I do know that it hurts a lot, and not just in a physical sense," Yuki replied with a gentle voice, grateful for the reprieve she gained from the constant teasing and rock-throwing by the bratty children.

"....same...here...sir..." She said quietly as Ryuki left. Turning her focus back to Kurosaki and Yuki, she was still hesitant to go over and strike up conversation. Still, now that Ryuki was leaving, she would have been left alone, and she hated that feeling. Hoping that they wouldn't run from her, Rose rigidly made her way over to the two, her stiff movements being a contrast to her intentions.

"....is...it all right....if I can....talk...to the two...of you?" She asked curiously.

Hearing a rather soft, apprehensive voice from the side, Yuki turned her attention to the source of the voice, and saw a blonde young woman wearing a white dress approach her and Kurosaki. Though she looked like a girl of refined upbringing, a few features of hers pointed her out as anything but: the rigid movement of her limbs, and a rose covering her eye. Despite the odd, almost frightening appearance, Yuki decided to approach the seemingly scared girl, who smelled of fragrant roses, and extended a hand to her. "Please don't be shy. We would love to hear what you say. If you want, we can go and buy milkshakes," she offered to the rose-eyed young woman, smiling at her gently.

Kurosaki took a drink from a newly opened waterbottle and said to the new girl and girl he just saved "so what are both of your names." Kurosaki looked at the rose eyed girl and thought "that appearence could she be a fangire I cant jump to concluseions though." Kurosaki took another drink from his water bottle and said "sorry about that I relized I just asked you both your names with out saying mine first I'm Kurosaki."
